Paper Aeroplanes “We Are Ghosts”

Paper Aeroplanes, Sarah Howells and Richard Llewellyn, have not drifted off when singing along the meadows of The River Elbe. But maybe the listener will drift and drown when he surrenders to these two excellent gems of pop music. They’ll take you by storm and make your heart feel light as a feather though the tenor is not that light. The lyrics of their hymn “When The Windows Shook” deal with “accidents” in oil refineries but nevertheless the song is a veritable hit. At least it would be in a better radio world. Anger, sadness and grandeur in the guise of comfort – a seldom experience. Enterprising and restrained – all in one! Terrific. Quiet tunes in a big way, sincere and full of emotions.
